Cyber-security Analyst

The purpose of this qualification is to prepare a student to operate as a Cybersecurity Analyst.
Cybersecurity Analysts protect digital assets such as networks, computer systems, and information
from malicious attacks and threats. They assess and mitigate risk, identify vulnerabilities, respond to
cybersecurity incidents, and design secure systems.

1. Demonstrate understanding of cybersecurity concepts, threats, and defence methods.
2. Investigate how cybersecurity relates to legal compliance, business continuity, and community impact.
3. Assess risks, evaluate existing security measures, and identify vulnerabilities.
4. Implement detection, prevention, and protection systems; respond to security breaches or incidents.
5. Evaluate and propose efficient security design solutions ensuring regulatory compliance.
