Understand business operations and management, they will gain insight into the challenges of
entrepreneurship, including conducting market and financial feasibility studies, and will learn
how to develop a complete business plan covering marketing, management and financial
components. Students will also learn how to present and evaluate a professional business plan. In
addition, the programme provides a solid foundation in management principles, personal
management, ethics and social responsibility. Learners will also develop an understanding of
labour relations in South Africa, including labour legislation, workplace structures, collective
bargaining processes, dispute settlement procedures and formal agreements.
